Moyer Jr. finishes second in Hard Times 50 at Legit Speedway Park
Monday night found Billy Moyer Jr. in action at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) aboard the Henderson Motorsports No. 21 Late Model for the XR Workin’ Man Series-sanctioned Hard Times 50.
In a field of 36 cars, Moyer laid down the third-fastest lap in his time trial group before placing second in his heat. Rolling off fifth for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Billy challenged race-long pacesetter Tyler Erb near the middle stages of the 50-lapper but was never able to get by the polesitter. Ricky Weiss, Morgan Bagley, and Austin Rettig completed the top-five finishers.
