Fourth and fifth-place finishes in CCSDS weekend

Billy Moyer Jr. returned to the driver’s seat of the Henderson Motorsports No. 21 Late Model on Friday evening at 67 Speedway of Texarkana (Texarkana, Ark.) to kick off a Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) doubleheader weekend.

With a heat race victory placing him on the second row for the feature, Billy led the opening 17 laps before fading to finish fourth when the checkered flag flew. He trailed Cade Dillard, Hunter Rasdon, and Kyle Beard to the checkers with Morgan Bagley coming in fifth.

For another $5,000-to-win program on Saturday afternoon at Rocket Raceway Park (Petty, Texas), Moyer Jr. topped the 28-car field in time trials before placing first in his heat. Racing to his third top-five finish of the season, Billy crossed the line in fifth in the 40-lap affair.
