Breazeale enters Clash at the Mag at Magnolia

On Thursday afternoon Henderson Motorsports invaded Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) with David Breazeale behind the wheel of the L&S Trucking No. 10 Late Model for the 13th annual Optima Batteries Clash at the Mag. With 44 Late Models on hand for the event sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), David came in seventh in his heat before grabbing the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his B-Main. With severe weather set to hit the area on Saturday afternoon, officials scratched Friday’s final preliminary feature and shifted the $12,000-to-win Clash at the Mag to Friday evening. Failing to transfer out of his heat race and B-Main, Breazeale was granted a provisional into the finale. Rolling off 24th, David passed three cars in the 50-lap affair to register a 21st-place outing.
